Notes About The Poem
May the spirit of Christmas bring healing to the lonely and blue by using the shoulder of our kindness.
Christmas Is Blue
Winter streets... are dancing
In red..green and gold
Bright lights of the city
Are a sight to behold
I'm wishing on our picture
In old time...Kodachrome
But I know I'll be spending
Christmas....alone..
Elvis was right....
Christmas is blue
A long silent night
Alone.....without you
December's decorated...
In one sad single hue
Elvis was right....
Christmas...is blue
Gold doesn't shimmer..
And tinsel will not shine
You're not here for Christmas
You're no longer mine
This wonderland of color
Isn't very bright...
'Gonna be a blue Christmas
Elvis was right
Elvis was right.......
Christmas is blue.....
