Christmas Eve

Sing to the melody... “La Cucaracha"

The little children/ the little children/ setting sugar cookies and warm milk....../
Hoping to see him/ hoping to see him/ in his red and white silk!

The little children/ the little children/ anticipate the leading red light........../
Hoping to see him/ hoping to see him/ sliding down the chimney tonight!

The little children/ the little children/ falling asleep on the couch....../
They didn't see him/ they didn't see him/ setting presents in a crouch!

You certainly picked an excellent melody for your poem. As tone deaf as I am I could still sing the lyrics. Well done and good luck in the contest.
