Christmas

Christmas comes with the money
spent lavishly in the stores.
Preparing food brings the chores,
goods are sweet as the honey.

Decorations has all world.
Gifts are making tops of lists
giving Santa extra twist.
Born is today Christ the Lord.

Everybody must be glad
from the birthday of God –
ornamenting Christmas trees.

We will always have the poor,
but at Christmas love is lure
in the carols happy tunes.
