Christmas

Christmas tree you smell so fine
lovely essence of the pine
decorations hung onyour limbs
delicate ornaments as your trim
lights are strung with careful hands
tossing tinsel makes it grand
holidays smells of sugar "n" spice
children sneaking a tasty bite
holidays come just once a year
friends "n" family happily here
giving everyone a toast of cheer
all in merriment we hold dear.
