Christmas

Cut down the tree,
Light it with glee,
hang it up high,
high in the sky,
Christmas is coming,
 harra harra!

Snow floods the streets,
carolers meet,
flake after flake,
freezing the lake,
cocoa and fires,
never-ending buyers,

awakening finally,
head to the stockings!
candy and chocolate,
oh, my parents are late,
The presents are glistening,
everyone's listening,

around the tree on the ground,
passing them round,
faces full of joy today,
finally we shall say,
       Merry Christmas!
