Christmas
Christmas a time of joy and cheer
Time for eyes clear and free,
Of sorrow and tears.
Peace and love given free to all,
Not for pain or hurt to mark the day.
Love shared this way should last for ever
And a day;
Not till the season has past and faded so far away.
Gifts given just for sake with no feeling,
Is living without seeing.
