Kim Merryman Poet Acrostic

Christmas

Choirs of angels sang with great joy;
Heavenly heralds proclaimed:
Rejoice for the Savior is born this night,
Immanuel is His name.
Shepherds, awed by the angels' song,
Travelled to where He lay;
Marvelling at this holy child, they knelt in humble praise.
All glory to God in the highest for His gift of grace and love.
Salvation was born that Bethlehem night - God's Son sent from above.
