Christians Are People Too.

Christians, believe it or not are people too
We have feelings, desires, hurts, and needs.
Don’t judge us; it’s not your Job leave that to God.
He is not partial; he knows we are just mere flesh and blood 

Mans opinion of us don’t count at all, what God says 
About me and you: we are the righteousness of his son
The head and not the tail, above and not beneath, the apple 
Of his eye, 

We are to be salt and light in this dark and sinful world. 
An example for those lost, and without hope to see.
That God through his mercies can forgive, deliver, and save,
“Twas the price he paid once and for all at Calvary. 

We have no licence however to sin, but endeavour to 
Live holy and blameless once Christ lives within.
We’re not exempt from life struggles at all,
But his strength will be made available whenever we fall.

Carolyn Devonshire August 16, 2009 at 5:01 PM Discrimination of any kind is dispicable, Abraham, but perpetration of hatred based upon religion seems most senseless of all. Religion is supposed to bring all closer to God, but when we pit one against another we draw further away from his intent. I doubt if God cares to which religion we escribe. It is the spiritual values that we nourish which seem most important. And God should be our only judge -- part of my personal motto. Love and blessings, Carolyn

Diane Christian August 16, 2009 at 7:35 AM Amen Abe a powerful message, it is true we will get giref as Jesus got grief for Loving God, some one swore in their feed back to my poem new life but that's just how some people are sadly, we will be persecuted by thoose who do not know the truth yet but they will do in time, God bless you my dear friend from diane
