Christianity Is Personal

Christianity is Personal

Christianity is personal
Between my Lord and me
For me he died upon the cross
From sin to set me free

I am the one who must believe
To go to heaven's door
No matter what the churches preach
That's it and nothing more

I make my rules on this belief
How Jesus passed his days
The caring way he lived his life
His practices and ways

Try not to think of only self
Try not to sinful be
When acting out with others
Think what if those were me?

Help others out when possible
Take care of family
Try to love my fellow man
That's Christianity for me

What a refreshing declaration proclaiming your basic beliefs of what Christianity means to you. Very profound and inspirational, I love it! Excellent piece, Franklin. It's a 7! Pandita
