Christ Offered To Take Away My Sin

Christ Offered To Take Away My Sin!

Christ offered to take away the sin within me!
He did this, just because he really loves me!

He offered to exchanged his love in it’s place!
And freely offered his gifts of mercy and grace!

I thought about it.  But wasn’t sure what to do.
I had nothing to offer to the
 one who said; “I love you!”

My life had been like rags
 and emptiness for many years.
I was filled inside with a lot of
 doubts and fears!

But Jesus called me!  I jumped up and listened!
This was an opportunity… 
 I didn’t want to be missin’!

He was willing to give my life a second chance.
And loved me!  No matter the circumstance!

I decided to give him my life of sin and greed!
A new direction, God’s spirit would lead!

Christ’ life for mine, is what was exchanged…
But is was my life what was totally changed!

The love that he brought has been so sweet!
With him…  My life has been made complete!
