Christ Lives
CHRIST LIVES
The sun that gives its light, the stars that shine at night,
The flowers that bloom in spring, the birds that sing all say Christ lives.
The leaves upon the trees, the grass, the bugs, the bees,
All nature sings in accord the happy tidings
Of Him who’s alive and e’er providing--Christ lives!
The man bound by his sin who one day let Christ in
Can testify today and gladly say He lives.
Though some may scoff and doubt, if they would dare find out,
The evidence is there, the tomb is bare, my Savior lives.
Though men may not believe or His grace won’t receive,
They’ll bow in awe in His presence in that hour,
They’ll know of His judgment and His power--Christ lives!
So come to Jesus now and to Him humbly bow
And join the ones who say, “I know today He lives!”
These words written to “Mam’selle.”
