Chosen One
Gone from our sight but not from our hearts.
You will be missed so much, and this is tearing us apart.
From the first day that you were born, you were the gleam in our eyes.
We never thought you would go before us, but here we are saying goodbye.
You were very special to us and to so many others.
You loved your family, did well, and never got into any trouble.
We are going to miss that beautiful smile that would light up a room.
This pain we feel inside because you are gone too soon.
So rest on, my child; we will try to live on without you.
I know my God in Heaven doesn't make mistakes, and that's why He chose you.
