Chosen
Uninitiated youth
your heart is strong and mind is sharp
shall you take this passing torch
and trek unflinching thru the dark?
know others then will follow you
and not to show an ego's glow
For you were chosen to hold this torch
and with it help us all to grow
let nothing ever be unshown
for you now have the guiding light
let everything be seen and known
while navigating endless night
the dawn is not too far from thought
but until that destined time
continue to break the darkness
your reward will be sublime
