Choosing Heaven

Choosing Heaven

If mans first sin is being born
Then destiny will for tell
How any man can take the path
That leads away from hell
But as he journeys through his life
He strays far from the trail
For any man who's born in sin
Temptations will prevail
So he will wander in the dark
But will not walk alone
Cause every eye will look to judge
The sins he must atone
As he grows wise in passing days
He will see the way he fell
And he will climb back to his feet
And take the path from hell
He will keep himself within his bounds
And know that he will fail
Cause all that he denies himself
Will make his conscious wail
He'll have to make the sacrifice
Working flesh to bone
Cause he must learn to live without
To sew a seed in stone
