Choose Me Or Lose Me
Taking deep breaths,
here we are.
We're so close
But we're so far.
I'm not a second choice,
It's either you choose me
Or after she breaks your heart again
You forever lose me.
So speak now
Or forever hold your peace
Are you going to go back to her,
Or are you going to be with me?
Remember, you have one chance.
Maybe she'll sit and wait,
But I don't wear my heart on me sleeve,
You'll be too little too late.
When will you realize
I'm not a heartbreaker,
That I'm not a mistake,
I'm nothing like her.
Maybe one day you'll see
That time and time again
The more you go back to her
You'll be her backup boyfriend.
