Choon Tessa
to be loved by you
and loved in return
graceful beyond words
turning in the direction
of your smile
precious each moment
precious each kiss
might I hold your hand
to stand together as one
united together in love
as lovers
must we make foe
of those in opposition
to our togetherness
to divide the crowd in thus
this endeavor
might my ring protect
the hand of my lover
to queit a meanspirted
world
