2 chooks upon a branch, squalkin sqeekin inhaling ants, up away from the fox, singin sweet as goldilox, brings a tear to mine eye. good one Russell Sivey, mate....'Two Birds' some Aussie chickens live up in the trees, Fox he dont climb so well, chooks are pleased... (chook = fowl) Don

Who wrote what, is Russ part of the poem or one of the writers? Never heard of a chicken in a tree, fascinating dilemma as I see it. I like chook better than fowl too. You hit it just right mate! :)

inspired by Russells "two birds" Aussie chooks fly up into trees and escape the nimble cunning Pommy Fox introduced here for fox humting....which dont happen here no more:)

I just love the line, "singin sweet as goldilox," such a fantastic line there my friend! I don't think I would have come up with that word, goldilox, that rhymed with fox as easily as it probably came to you! You've done excellent with this rendition of my write! I really enjoyed it a lot! Great Work!!
