Choked Desolation
The smoke billowed behind her
She had just put out the flame
Her world was crumbling around her
She turned inwards in vain.
Despair washed over her
The truth now hit her hard
The pain was to much to bear
She hid now behind her shame.
Love lasts when a spark turns into a flame
Each memory now within a frame
It’s over now and there’s no one to blame
The tears now flowing like torrential rain.
