Choices

an angel or devil
which one will it be
the emotions run rampant
and twisted in me

try as i may to reach
out in the night
whilst darkness and demons
they answer my plight

i long for the daylight
to awaken my slumber
with songs sun by nature
to quiet nights thunder

the blue skies and sunshine
they heal my soul
i walk though the fields
on up to the knoll

here i feel closer to
heaven at best
i finally may sit here
for one moments rest

for good and the evil
both choices i see
the light will keep shining
down deep within me...
