Choices

Sitting here reminiscing
Of the late friends of the past

Even more depressing
Is being the last

I have seen my friends
Not all, just a few
Way to early
Their lives had been through

Yet some grew old
Their time, well done
While others lives
Had barley just begun

The gift of life
Is so very priceless
For at any given moment
Could lead one lifeless

Any action, any word

Any breath you take

Could result in
A fatal mistake

Your life may be lost
With any move you make

So make it a good one

Make it a bad one

The choice is yours
You always have one
