Choices

We all have hard decisions
Things we have to decide
Sometimes, we make our choices
By what we feel inside

But what if the doctor asked you
"Your baby or your wife?
We just can't save both of them
For one will lose their life"

And what if, one of your loved ones
Needed life support to live
Could you tell them to turn it off?
Is this the answer you're prepared to give?

Or what if one of your children
Have committed a mortal sin?
And maybe, they've killed someone
Could you really turn them in?

Most of us will never face
Decisions like I've stressed
So consider yourself very lucky
Or even extremely blessed

Amen. These are situations I never want to face.
