CHOICES

CHOICES

Light creeping up on me
No more darkness for me to see
Joy and laughter
Drives away tears and disaster
Kisses and hugs
Instead of misery and shrugs
I had to let go
Of what was and said no
To unforgiveness and pain
If not all would be in vain
I've been waiting so long
To be open minded and strong
Let me not reminice..
I choose light instead of darkness

Thanks for sharing this. God bless you. Meanwhile, I greet you with a Joyous New Year with this prayer from the Bible in Numbers 6:24-26, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
