Chocolate Snowman Blues

i am the chocolate snowman melting away by blues
i am the chocolate snowman melting away by blues
my corncob pipe is wilted and tattered and torn are my shoes

my heart is a wilted flower in the murky waters of life
my heart is a wilted flower in the murky waters of life
i haven't been able to function since the last day my heart was beating right

i'm on the edge of insanity knocking on the hollow door of my brain
i'm on the edge of insanity knocking on the hollow door of my brain
i make my attempts in the snow, sleet, sun, moon, and rain

i'm gonna go make a request to old jackie frost herself
i'm gonna go make a request to old jackie frost herself
i'm gonna go politely ask if she could possibly share a bit of her wealth
