Chirping Melody

The sun shines on this day
Cold and frost bitten my dismay
Ice crystals hang in the air
Snow flakes gathering in your hair.

Birds fly in the bitter cold
Small things being so bold
Singing to brighten my day
Throwing a bit of happiness my way.

oh goody. another one I had not seen yet. It's very cute. That was neat how you made the birds as the small things so bold. Indeed they can be very bold! I love the title of this one too. thanks for reading my poems today, sweetie. I am just about caught up on comments and I'll be off to dreamland.

All is silent here, not a feather in sight! It is just shy of desolate and my son just called to say he got home from Belize. Ah well, we suffer in silence and not because we want to and our suffering is better because we share it! Love, Lizzie - Mail 4 u
