Child's Rain

Ever think of a water drop as rain gently falls from the sky?
Do you wonder from where it comes? Do you ever think, "But why"?

A raindrop holds a promise of air that's been renewed
It cleans the birds and bugs ‘till the sky returns clear blue

Get your boots and umbrella, get ready for some fun
Go outside and look at the sky as rain falls down on your tongue

Stomp once or twice in a puddle, catch a raindrop or two
Watch for the rainbow high above rain will provide for you.

Maybe you’re staying in the house, your feelings may be sad
But rain brings us beautiful rainbows and to see them isn’t bad
