Children Laughter

The children are birthing laughter, silence whispers sadness.

The scarcity of sanity ignores their joyfulness, there is no righteousness.
A scream and a screech…

Succumbed by the mundane souls that condones their voice.

There is a tear, out of fear.
There is a pen, a pen divulging those souls wickedness in every prose.

This is an excellent poem. I like how the title resonates throughout the poem, and how the essence of the children's laughter is reinforced. Great job and welcome to Poetry Soup! ~Joseph
