Children At Play

Children rise with sleepy eyes While the moon and stars are yawning Sunrise sounds with leaps and bounds As another new day dawning Watch them play all through the day Till their energy expended Mother's there with love and care And her open arms extended With dinner bells and bedtime tales And no vigor left to borrow The day is done neath setting sun Children soon dream of tomorrow
