Child-like Ways

Time oh time
where has thy gone.
Faded memories
longing to be remembered.

Child-like Ways
Shaped these days,
Casted firmly, what they wanted you to be.

For hidden within the haze
are those who shaped thy days,
and the time has come to shed
Child-like Ways.

Alas,
forge what time remains for thee,
for child-like chains will never set you free,
to be, who, you were meant to be.

Memories of time are child-like in many ways... even until the senior years where people don't forget to smile and laugh over so many things and events in life. Stay jolly and free! -- Cliff :)

Appreciate the observation that we should keep some of them. It lightens the spirit, doesn't it? Thanks for the reply, I may extend this poem to include, a child like spirit. Blessings from Z.
