CHILDHOOD MEMORY

A scuffling in the chimney,
Scary for an eight-year old.
Could it be the Bogey Man,
Coming down to eat me up
Or maybe just a nightmare?
Trembling, I switch on the light.
Oh! Hello Father Christmas
