Childhood Memory

Christmas Eve, when I was four,
Mama said Santa had come
to visit me at our home!
Milk and cookies, she brought in
where, by the fireplace, he sat
in my daddy's rocking chair...

Uncle dressed like Santa Claus!

Whenever I'm not reading you, I miss reading you and it has been way too long since I found my way here. I'm going to treat myself to your poems this morning. This is precious, I suspect true and a memory that has survived decades, just like your talent.
