Childhood Memories

Childhood memories:
skipping hand in hand out the door to fall - and drop the painful bricks,
laughing and rolling on the bed as we giggle at nothing,
playing dolls in your room, one was mine and several were yours,
sitting in the kitchen, and dressing up the paper princess dolls,
pouring cereal in a bowl, and your mommy laughing when we spilled,
sitting by the couch, and having braided hair form as it was pulled,
a million memories, to lay within my head,
a million smiles that i see, and each one is the same,
i recoginze your true smile, the one that shows within,
you never try to lie to me, for i would kick you in your shin ;)
from baby girls we grew up to be pretty dolls on a shelf,
and each smile that we see, we remember our younger selfs.
