Childhood Faces

Know you this feeling that I get?

Alone with memories, I now sit.

Small and smiling face of an elf.

I thank you each for sharing myself.

Know you this fire in my eyes?

When with tears, I realize

This eternal echo never dies

To be relived each moment cries

Within us all we all shall live

To us all, this thought I give...

Over time's distance, I see our faces.

Cherished companions in my heart spaces.

Though the moon eludes, the sun yet chases.

So cherish our memories; our childhood faces.
