Childhood Bliss

Being a mother I am grateful to be
but it changed my life of folly
I do not resemble my mother at all
she has brown hair brown eyes and is tall

In looks I look identical to my dad
he has blond hair blue eyes and a Norwegian lad
I was adopted in a household of bliss
so my natural parents I do not miss

When I was in school I made some mistakes
and exceptions were there for the takes
I'm thankful for all the things that they did
both set of parents for troubles were rid

Being a mother is simple to do
being a mom is the most treasured virtue
