Childhood

Once more a life is welcomed At a time when all is wrong Families at war with each other Hunger is anthem Life seems harsh, life seems cruel Mom looks pale, a spark is missen What a load I had been,a burden I was Yet my arrival soothes it all That tiny smile brought back life That laughter healed wounds.

A warm welcome to PoetrySoup I offer to you this morning Nana. I wish for you the best in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. May you find inspiration by reading some of the poetry written here by other poets. Read and comment on their's and they will return in kind. May the sun shine on you that you might find great joy in your life. Love and blessing always, Carol
