Child Who Loves Their Father
My Dad,
He's a guy.
I found out he has a Mum too.
She said he was little like me once!
Being a man,
Is it something I choose?
It looks tiring.
My Dad,
He has these kind eyes,
He let's me have a go, first...
Then he steps in as a guide.
He knows that I watch him...
I think that sometimes that stresses him out.
He tries to be the best for me.
The very best that he can...
He does so well,
I want to shout:
"I love you Dad! I love you Dad"
He's so more than enough
His heart is sooo big,
He doesn't need to act tough.
He keeps us safe and warm,
And he hugs us tight...
It feels really special,
When my Dad says goodnight.
I am small, just for now.
One day I'll be like my Dad, but like me.
He's everything in one,
The best friend I ever had.
You'll see!
