Child

CHILD Hastily child rushed to embrace Mom ‘How have got me and where from? About me who liked to inform. Were you loitering hither- thither? Haply found me, Oh! Dear Mother. Brought me home, you and my father. Have you gone up mountain peak? Chanced to see me and loved to pick. Dear Mom, please be frank to speak. Have you walked through dense forest? Under tree shade I was taking rest. You took me home and loved me best. I was counting ripples to dance. Passing stream strand, you cast a glance. Found me playing joyous, perchance. When evening and dusk overlap Did Angel drop me on your lap? We two jointly started to clap.' Mom hugged her child bursting in tears. ‘Yearned for you years after years. You appeared from dormant desires.’ 06/30/ 20 HM 'Strand Completely New (3) Contest by Brian Strand
