Chickens

brrk brrk brrk
buc buc buc burk
nice chicken,

buc buc buc
brk brK BURKuRK
Mean CHICKEN!

The littles pet my mouth
as I say the brrks
Recoiling with delight
when mean chicken
gives them fright.

I love grooks, chickens and rooks. Your "mean chicken" is incredible even if it does not mean anything and buc buc bucs all thru morning. I enjoyed your poem. Love and welcome to PS----- RAJAT

Having been raised with chickens, this resonates with me. I could see them. I'm laughing with you.

I really like this. It is an unfamiliar form, but who cares as long as I enjoy reading it.

Not at all Dan. I think it is good to explore styles. I thoroughly enjoyed this poem.

Sorry about the form Maurice, I just went off the sound, Grook sounded like a chicken to me. I don't mean to be irreverent.

I can picture this, if chickens spot blood on another chicken they all peck the poor chicken to death.

We humans can be as cruel. But in my take the poem describes a game I play with my little ones with me as the chickens and my mouth as the beak.
