Chicken Or the Egg
Eggs for breakfast,
And eggs for lunch,
More for dinner,
Eggs to munch, munch, munch!
Eggs hard boiled or over easy,
Poached or scrambled light and fluffed,
Never met one I didn’t like,
Maybe in an omelet or whipped and stuffed.
Which came first the chicken or the egg?
I’m sure I’d have to say,
The chicken then the egg,
For we would have eaten the egg right away!
So when you start your day,
Grab an egg or two,
Just toss into a skillet or a pot,
And thank a chicken when you do.
