Chewing His Way Through Life

He has chewed up the dresser, two chairs and the couch.
His big mouth comes toward me; hey! Stop that! Ouch!
He is a puppy who rapidly devours chew toys in half.
They say he cannot tear up that one. That is a laugh!

He is chewing up the refrigerator and toaster now too.
He will devour the company after he finishes my shoe.
We watch in amazement; he is a super dog for sure.
But we have to forgive him, for his puppy heart is so pure.

Guess you have a new puppy. Years ago, I had one that ate the laces out of my bedroom slippers but never touched the slippers. That was the only thing she ate. Figure that one out???? Have a blessed day.................

We have had 19 dogs; we have never had one that chews like this one. He chewed up part of a memory foam mattress the day before yesterday when Daddy left him for 40 minutes. Daddy left him again yesterday for 44 minutes and he ate the entire new welcome mat on the porch. He does not want Daddy to leave.

O my! I certainly hope he begins to calm down soon. I'm sure his heart is in the right place, it's just that he's having trouble controlling his mouth! Of course a lot of folks have that problem, right?
