Cheryl 4 Poem

My mind wonders if she is cold and lonely

But, then I realize her shell is decaying slowly,

Her death doesn't seem real

Until I remember the day I touched her and she didn't feel,

The touch of her face was cold and like rubber

Then the thought runs through my mind how much I love her,

I just wanted to wake her up and say your not dead

But, deep inside I knew she was with God instead.

I love this piece. It's simple and sad and honest, thankyou Cheryl.
