Cherokee Maiden

Another time another place 
I remember your smiling face 
But time has faded such memories 
And only true love can set them free 
I have searched but could not find 
The one true love I left behind 
And here you are how can this be 
The spirits have smiled down on me 
And placed you here now with me 
The brave warrior and the maiden of the Cherokee
