Cherished Liberty
As we mourn your loss side by side our longest standing ally
With each of your tears you've cried so do all the States cry
In so placing you in our prayers we can all sense such loss
The heavy burden France bares, may God lighten your cross
So many lives have been taken so much love no longer there
So many hearts breaking as each of our own hearts would tear
And as we stand with you side by side we continue on to pray
Never allowing you to slide but helping you along in your way
"Vile enemies will fall, then we'll cease to sing this fierce refrain"
So hard to stand so tall when underneath there is so much pain
"Yet this refrain will be sung everywhere so keeping invincibility"
As your pain we also share throughout the land from sea to sea
"Each soul needing nourishment by such a fire that inspires all"
And so this message was sent so seeing all the images we saw
God hears all of your pleas and His Light will overcome all darkness
From all sorrows He frees as only such a loving God can Bless
" " Phrases taken from the French National Anthem
