Cherish My Sweet Wish

C-herish my sweet wish,
I-t makes a dream come true;
N-ever will it take away
D-elightful day from
Y-ou.

V-ery sweet and warm wish
I-s truly bright like the sun;
N-ever ever will it speak
U-nkind word to someone.
Y-earn for my sweet wish, for it's good to the heart;
A-llow it to comfort you so the aches will all depart.

P-ut my sweetest wish
A-round you this fine day;
N-ever will it leave you
G-rieving in blue and gray.
A-llow my sweet wish
N-ot to upset your mind;
I-n twenty-ninth October,
B-ad clime is left behind.
A-s you celebrate your birth, let not the rapture diminish;
N-either ear will ignore to cherish my sweet wish.
