Cherish and Behold

A friend is a warm cup of soup on a cold day 
A smile from a friend is a fragrant bouquet 

A friend loves you unconditionally
A friend treats you as a family member additionally 

Whether your pockets are full or empty 
A friend’s heart is over flown with plenty 

A friend sees past your faults 
And rejoices in your company with the excitement of a waltz 

A good friend that is true to heart, is hard to find 
A better friend is one that never leaves your mind 

No matter how far ,no matter how long 
A good friend will right you, when you’re wrong 

So be a friend to someone you know 
Together your heart shall forever grow
