Chemo

The endless waiting burns into my brain Every tick of the clock drives me insane Life washes away with each wave of pain My sorrow will not let me feel again My resolve is broken; nothing left to gain Let death come for me, no need to remain

By God's grace, I have no first-hand experience. I have lost three brothers, two sisters, and a mother-in-law to various forms of cancer. Yes, chemotherapy works... or it doesn't. I am so happy for all those whose lives were extended but I feel such sorrow for those that lost. Thanks for reading my friend. I'm praying that everyone has a safe journey through this life.

Thank you, my friend, for reading and for your kind words. I don't mean to say that all chemotherapy is bad. It is the saving grace for many and some even have little adverse side effects. As Spock says, "Live long and prosper."

My mom had her last chemo, rang the bell hard and shortly thereafter died from an infection. God bless you, Jerry

So sorry for your loss, Kim. My regret in life is that I have no magical poem that when read, will take all the hurt and sorrow away.

I know so many who have suffered through it. I feel for all of them.
