what’s it like in your world
living in a chemical dream
all creative and manipulating

do you feel anything
with your head in the clouds
poison running through your veins

Hey Chemical Girl 
whatcha gonna do tomorrow
when today’s been put to bed
with reality clear in your head

Hey Chemical Girl
do you know life is more then this
you’ve got so much more to give
a real future you could live

Hey Chemical Girl
can’t keep going on this way
just a zombie of modern day
dead walking darkness till dawn

Hey Chemical Girl
your running out of time
watching you slip in front of me
see you dying in your chemical dream

ground your feet back on the dirt
I know that you’ve been hurt
but there is a better way

can you hear me calling your name
is there any of you left to save
a trace that’s still awake

lost in your chemical dreams
will you beat the devil in your veins
or will this be how you end your days
