Chelynne's Trip To the Moon

Should you travel to the moon with your silver lock box on your back, I'll pack up a poetry quilt for your journey along with a memory snack. If you should sad hunger for friendships gone missing or a voice which can echo your soul just unlock your heart lock and breathe like a trooper. Snuggle up in these words when you're cold: I love you. Not like the flittering fleeting, or those who read only the title in your eyes. I love you when you stand up just like a ballerina and I love you when you exhale a self-conscious sigh. I'll know you until the moon floats up, up and away from the sun shine she bathes in at night. I'll know each and every word that you say is both honorable, truthful and right. So, when you glance back from your trip to the moon and the earth looks a bit out of reach Remember this heart is connected to yours a commitment which distance can't breach...
