Cheerio

When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends.

You aren’t our mother,
But your support has been just as strong.

When we came to you with silly notes,
You cuddled and praised, even upon awful tommyrot.

When we were into some problem and failed to explain,
You would understand our language and never let us remain in pain.

When we came to you for comfort,
You kissed away the tears, you couldn’t see us hurt.

When we proudly showed you the work,
You gave the loudest cheers.
You know, it was just you with whom we loved to share.

It is pure love, with which you have nurtured,
You are the one, who has worked to shape our future.

We are going but emotions will remain entwined,
Savoured memories will rerun and rewind.

Bless us with knowledge, wisdom and lovely life.
To make you proud, we will always strive.
