Very true, the fear of the unknown causes anxiety and distress and is hard to suppress, I know because I have fears of my own… Belle

We all have fears, Belle. The ‘trick’ is to overcome them by examining each, recognising their roots lie in attachment to transient aspirations.

Seeker, your two stanza poem ends with a blazing reality especially when we close off God's inspirations and solutions by "attempting to steer fate!" Indeed, pure love keeps our hearts from small deaths! Really enjoyed this poem! Blessings my friend! Per usual, you have given me a seasoned kernel of truth to savor!

"Love casts fear outside..." A Bible quote. Yet, a reverential fear can protect us from many harms

common sense fears help keep us safe and alive but imaginary ones, the ones we nurture, based on attachment to anticipated outcomes, they must be erased
