Why spend big bucks to join a fitness club
when you can get a good workout and more
by cutting down and dragging stubborn scrub
and pulling vines from trees to work your core?
An added bonus:
letting your spouse
do a tick check,
pre-shower, of course.
Although you won’t be using all that tech,
you’ll pride yourself in getting something done
and your hard work comes with its own reward,
for clean-up is the best part of the job.
A Dorsimba: 12 lines with an abab quatrain in iambic pentameter, 4 lines of "short and snappy" free verse, and 4 lines of blank verse
